Earthquakes are a common occurrence in Utah.
During his monthly news conference on Feb. 28, Gov. Herbert spoke about earthquakes: the natural disaster that has been in the forefront of Utahns' minds the past few weeks.
Herbert said Utahns should "prepare" and not worry.
"We have 500 to 600 earthquakes a year in Utah; most of them [are] small... Rather than be worried, be prepared."
Over 100 earthquakes shook the Bluffdale area between Feb. 13 and 21., the highest magnitude being 3.7, according to UUSS.
