(UPDATE) Monday July 16 8: 09 a.m. - The Dollar Ridge Fire is 65 percent contained. It has reached 56,734 acres.
Fire officials are warning residents the smoke from the fire area may be visible during the next several weeks, especially as the weather warms and humidity decrease. The smoke poses no threats to the public or structures. Firefighters will continue to patrol and put out hot spots, according to a news release.
(UPDATE Wednesday 12 10:50 a.m.) - Duchesne County Sheriff's Office has lifted some pre-evacuation areas near the Dollar Ridge Fire.
(UPDATE Thursday July 12 9:08 a.m.) - The Dollar Ridge Fire is 60 percent contained and has reached 56,687 acres.
(KUTV) - As fire crews continue to successfully contain the Dollar Ridge Fire, the speed limit in that area of Highway 40 has also been reinstituted.
The Dollar Ridge Fire has been contained at 50 percent and reached 52,256 acres.
Due to safety concerns, the Utah Fire Info cautions drivers to be caution while driving near the fire.
