At least five suspects are believed to be involved in a heist at a Murray dealership.
M3 Auto was broken into just before 9 p.m. on Thursday night.
The owner Mark Bass, in an exclusive interview with 2News, said those responsible were driving what is described as an older Chevy pick-up – and he says they used it to ram open one of his garage doors. Then, he said they stole one of his 2015 Chevrolet Silverados. But the story doesn’t end there.
Bass says they came back later the same night, before midnight and took four other vehicles. He said they also took a number of other things including about 60 vehicle titles and keys to every vehicle on site.
The five vehicles that were taken are:
- 2015 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ red
- 2005 Chrysler PT cruiser purple
- 2011 Audi A6 3.0T black
- 2012 Ford Focus Silver
- 2003 Acura MDX silver
Together, the vehicles are worth an estimated $45,000-$50,000. That’s not including everything else that was taken. 2News was told Bass received some information that the suspects may be in the Tooele/Grantsville area but if you have any information that might help with this case, you are asked to call Murray police on (801) 840-4000.
A GoFundMe has also been set up for the family. That can be found here.
