(KUTV) -- Dr. Steph Sheen, a veterinarian at Animal Care Center in Bountiful, and her husband Ryan Luke lost six dogs and two cats in a house fire that was allegedly started by a murder suspect.

Kevin Billings, 64, is accused of killing a code enforcement officer outside of Sheen and Luke's home.

Billings also allegedly set Sheen's home on fire.

While Sheen and Luke survived the house fire, their possessions and pets did not.

The Animal Care Center has initiated the "Steph & Ryan Rebuild Fund" at Key Bank. Anyone wishing to donate may visit any Key Bank location and donate to help the Sheen's rebuild their home.
