A brush fire broke out in central Utah on Wednesday afternoon.
Though only five acres, it is currently threatening structures in Cedar Fort, in Utah County, according to state fire officials.
State fire officials did not immediately provide more information about the location of the threatened structures or whether evacuations were or would be ordered.
The fire has been named the Cedar Fort Fire. The cause is currently unknown.
Highway 73 is being closed near the fire area in Cedar Fort to allow firefighters to work uninhibited by traffic.
"Please avoid the area and drive with caution near Cedar Fort to allow for firefighters to safely respond and work in the area," state fire officials asked.
Local firefighters are trying to contain the flames, with help from other agencies. A dozer and two air tankers were ordered to come to their aid.
This is a developing story.
