UPDATE: Weather causing roadway material on I-15 in Lehi to come apart

UPDATE: (Oct. 10 7:37 a.m.) - Utah Highway Patrol helped change over 25 tires s on I-15 as the weather created more potholes.

The weather is caused the roadway material to come apart in the area.

UHP is asking drivers to slow down in the area as crews fix the issue.

(KUTV) -- Five vehicles have flat tires as a result of driving over a pothole on I-15 in Lehi, according to Utah Highway Patrol (UHP).

The rain has caused a temporary patch in the construction zone near 2100 South to erode.

UHP is cautioning drivers to slow down.

Crews can't repair the hole until the road dries up. Troopers will be closing down lanes lanes in the area in order to make repairs throughout the day.
