Ogden fire threatens structures, damages power substation

UPDATE – (Sunday at 8 p.m.) – The fire is now 100% contained, according to local fire authorities. In total, 35 acres burned.

(KUTV) – A fire in Ogden is has damaged a power substation and is threatening 72 structures according to Utah Fire Info's Twitter account.

There are no power outages and no evacuations but the 20-acre fire is burning near Utah's State Route 39 that leads into Ogden Canyon. Fire fighting officials in Weber County are calling the blaze the 9th Street Fire. Heavy winds moved through Utah Saturday and could still be a factor for firefighters.

It is not known what kind of structures are threatened or how close flames are to neighborhoods or businesses.
