Dozens of protestors gathered outside of the Salt Lake City mayor's office on Thursday.

Marvin Oliveras told 2News they were there to set up a time to meet with Mayor Biskupski about police training ad accountability.

Oliveras' brother, Cody Belgard, was shot and killed by a Salt Lake City police officer in November.

“All we are asking for today is to put us on the schedule for a definitive date and time for a meeting to ask her some of these questions that she should be willing to answer to constituents who have voted for her," Oliveras said.

Body cam footage of the officer-involved shooting showed Belgard refusing to comply with commands during a short pursuit.

In the video, one officer says he believed the suspect had a gun.

Belgard was shot and taken to the hospital, where he later died.

A police investigation revealed Belgard was not armed at the time of the shooting.
