(KUTV) - The last time BYU beat Arizona in a season opener, they lost the next week to another Pac 12 school -- Utah in 2016. The Cougars rode a 21-point third quarter against the Wildcats on Saturday en route to a 28-23 win. This week they host Cal, which is coming off a 24-17 win of its own against North Carolina. Head coach Kalani Sitake and company are glad to be heading into week two with a 1-0 record, but know there is still room for improvement. The Bears were picked to finish fourth in the Pac-12 north division and will bring a stingy defense with them to Provo. Sitake, quarterback Tanner Mangum, and running back Squally Canada looked ahead to Cal after their win in Tucson.
