High school football: 6A, 5A and 4A champions crowned

(KUTV) Bingham defended its state championship from last season with a 27-14 win over East to win the Class 6A title on Friday. The Miners' defense led the way, holding the Leopards to 7 points after three quarters of play. In Class 5A, the Pioneers rolled to a 55-17 victory over Skyridge. Quarterback Cam Cooper had a tremendous game, throwing 5 touchdown passes and running for two more scores in the lopsided win. And Orem defeated Mountain Crest 26-0 to take home the 4A crown.
