(KUTV) - The header of this article will not be the title of any new, recurring segment on Talkin’ Sports. It is however an accurate description of the longtime local sports journalists recent appearance on the weekday show on My Utah TV.

With a lull in the National sports market starting to exude resonance once again, news hit home in Utah this week. On Thursday the UHSAA voted to unanimously to move forward with plans for the Fall sports season, with the stipulation that schools follow guidelines set forth by State and County health departments. Parties on all sides seemed ecstatic to be moving forward with a plan that’s in the best interest of athletes that are in many cases already working hard in their Summer months.

In Amy’s appearance on KMYU she chats with Adam Mikulich about what the UHSAA’s decision on Thursday means for communities around Utah, and also about the evolving landscape in college football. Moves made by the Pac-12 on Friday instantly cancelled the week one meeting between the Utes and Cougars and that’s only the beginning. Both teams schedules and the ways that they’ve changed are discussed moving forward right here!
