The McRib may be McDonald's most well-known meal aside from the Big Mac, and now fans will be able to get a new piece of the exclusive sandwich.

McDonald's plans on having the McRib sandwich back in its restaurants starting Nov. 1.

To mark the 40th Anniversary of the McRib, the food chain announced fans will now have the chance to enjoy the sandwich year-round...digitally.

For the first time in the U.S., McDonald's will be creating a limited number of NFTs in celebration of the milestone.

NFTs are non-fungible tokens and are known as unique pieces of virtual art that can't be duplicated.

According to officials, the McRib NFT is a digital version of the sandwich.

The company will be giving the NFTs away via Twitter starting on the same day the sandwich will be available in restaurants.

To enter for a chance to win the virtual meal, you must follow @McDonalds on Twitter and retweet the sweepstakes invitation tweet anytime between Nov.1 through Nov.7 from you public account.

By Nov. 12, the food chain plans to select 10 fans to receive the McRib NFTs,

The real McRib sandwich will be available to eat at McDonald's restaurants for a limited time.
