A Real Salt Lake player has tested positive for COVID-19, the team announced Friday.
In a statement, RSL said all other first-team players and staff have been tested and their tests came back negative.
The player with COVID-19 will continue to self-isolate until he is medically cleared under the "close supervision of the club's medical staff."
RSL says players and staff will continue to be closely monitored through the weekend.
RSL is scheduled to play Sporting Kansas City at Rio Tinto Stadium at 4:30 p.m. MT on Sunday. The game, at this point, has not been canceled.
The team did not publicly identify the player who tested positive.
